I hold the Singapore record for pi memorization and recitation. For that record I memorized 160 colors in 5 minutes 20 seconds and recalled all colors in perfect sequence.ģ. I held the world record for the longest color sequence memorized in 2011. There I memorized, 176 abstract images in 15 minutes, 98 words in 15 minutes, 480 numbers in 60 minutes, 51 names, and faces in 15 minutes, 460 binary digits in 30 minutes.Ģ. I Represented Singapore in the World Memory Championships in 2011. Well, here are some of my qualifications:ġ. I'm here to pass on my knowledge to those seeking to improve their memory. My Name is San, I was born and brought up in sunny Singapore and I've got a pretty good memory. The metals corrode or tarnish more readily īuy This 'How To Memorize & Remember The Reactivity Series in Order' Now! The metals lose electrons (oxidize) more readily to form positive ions Going from the bottom to the top of the reactivity series: The list of elements that we will be memorizing in order from the most reactive the the least reactive: Never forget this list again!īe able to answer questions from memory: Which is more reactive, Sodium or Tin?īe able to answer questions from memory:Which is least reactive, Iron or Zinc?īe able to answer questions from memory: What metal come after Aluminium or before ? Learn the Leitner system to make sure you remember the reactivity series forever. How to memorize and remember the reactivity series in perfect order.īe able to recall the reactivity series according to the most reactive.īe able to recall the reactivity series according to the least reactive. But by using the Leitner system, you will learn the right strategies to help transfer this information from your short-term to long-term memory. After memorizing the reactivity series, you will want to store the information that you just memorized in your long-term memory. ![]() The Leitner system which is a memory technique that will help you transfer information from your short-term to you long-term memory. Another example: There are also 2 'S' in the reactivity series, Silver and Sodium. By using the acronym memory technique, I will not know which one comes first. There are 3 'c' in the reactivity series. Let me explain why this method is ineffective" The acronym technique takes the first letter of each word and form a story or poem. The reason why I choose this memory technique and not the acronym memory technique is because the acronym technique is not effective in memorizing the reactivity series. It is an extremely simple but highly effective way to memorize information. The Link-Story Technique which is a type of mnemonic. There are 2 memory technique that I be teaching you to memorize the reactivity series. What are the memory techniques that will be taught in this class? Many exams questions are based on the reactivity series, so by memorizing the order of their reactivity you are doing yourself a huge favour. If you are a chemistry student, it is crucial that you memorize the reactive series. Potassium react violently in water, while platinum and gold does not react when in contact with water. It is arranged from the most reactive metal, potassium, to the least reactive metal, platinum. ![]() The reactivity series allows us to predict how metals will react.
